2023 Chittering SpringFest!
Only a 1 hour drive from Perth CBD, the region has so much to offer and this year's programme includes family friendly activities, local history, great food and local produce, stargazing, wildflowers, art and craft and entertainment.

Local Goat - Living The Dream

Gerald and Julie Drummond both grew up in suburban Perth, on the farm tour you will hear their story of how they came to live off-grid, on 148 acres in Gingin.
The Drummonds live in a straw-bale house built by Gerald, which is serviced by a stand-alone solar power system and rainwater tanks. Two-thirds of the property is set aside as banksia woodland.
Now they milk a small herd of dairy goats to make award-winning cheeses and gelato.
​
The tour includes a gelato on arrival, an information session on the property and goats, cheese tastings and a cheese of your choice to take home. (Please bring an esky/cool bag to take your cheese home.)

Springtime Stargazing Adventure

Come on a family space adventure under the beautiful dark skies of Chittering.
Find the constellations and take a closer look at Mars and the rings of Saturn through large telescopes.
We’ll look for far-off galaxies and giant star clusters and play space games with the kids!
14K Brewery will be offering Fire Cider and Cordial tastings.
Northern Valleys Locavore Store will have Hot Soup and rolls available for purchase (in addition to their pre-ordered picnics and children’s plates).
